A transparent, predictable, diagnostic fee is what you pay. No hidden truck charges or travel time fees. Whether it takes 1 hour or more, the price will not change to troubleshoot your system. Additionally, the diagnosis includes a full system inspection and report. With over 1000 + parts stocked in our vans and a menu based pricing guide, many repairs can be completed in the same visit. You are in full control of the service call, no high pressure sales, just honest, quality workmanship. * Some repairs do involve part sourcing and a quotation.*

We honour any manufacturers warranty on parts and compressors for all makes and models, even if we didn't install the system. Why should you pay a contractor if they can't locate the issue? That's why we guarantee to find the issue with your HVAC system or else the diagnostic fee is free.
Clean Worksite Guarantee
We guarantee to always place floor, furniture and boot coverings to prevent any damage to your space. Additionally, we assure a thorough cleanup following every repair or installation, leaving your space pristine.
No Surprise Pricing Gurantee
We guarantee no extra fees, including truck, eco, disposal, or admin charges, for installations or services. For quoted installations, we won’t add any surprise fees during or after the work.
Temperature Gurantee
For new HVAC installs. We promise to achieve the desired temperature in the space as stated to a variance of plus or minus 3 degrees or else we will change out the system at no charge.
Our 90 Day No breakdown Guarantee is offered to all Tune up and MVP customers. If your system has an issue within that time frame, the Diagnostic rate is waived. (4)
If you find a competing offer for install with similar quality and guarantees, we promise to price match it and beat it by $250. All we ask is the comparison be "Apples to Apples"(6)

I hold Red Seal certifications in Refrigeration and Electrical, along with a GAS B certification from Technical Safety BC and a Master Electrician FSR designation. My expertise spans commercial/residential construction, service in both electrical and refrigeration across Western Canada. With additional experience in Supermarket Refrigeration, building controls and Energy Management.

I'm a proud father of two girls, and together with my wife, we strive to lead by example. (3) RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS + *COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS:
-Price applies to a typical stand alone system.
-Diagnostic Rate doesn't include cost of repairs.
-Common repairs are a flat rate price. Some repairs do require quotation, part sourcing and a return visit to complete the repair. Diagnostic fee only applies to the first service call out, not the return visit.
(4) RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS + COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS:
-The 90-Day No Breakdown Guarantee applies to MVP members and Tune-Up customers. It provides a free diagnostic service if a system fails within 90 days of a maintenance or tune-up. However, components or systems flagged and documented as nearing failure during the maintenance are not covered, and a diagnostic rate will apply if failure of one of these components occur within the 90 day period. Parts replaced during maintenance are covered under separate warranties.
(5) -Repair warranties do not apply to parts or equipment that has been modified, altered or worked on by
unlicensed individuals or competitors. Repair warranties are not covered by weather related or accidental damage.
(6) Apples to Apples Guarantee applies to Residential customers
-An "apples to apples" comparison would be similar brand, model, features, tonnage or btu system. -Quotes would include same piping material, accessories, controls, I.A.Q. etc.
-Competitors must be a legitimate registered business, Teca members, insured, bonded, enrolled with WCB, GST#
-A heat load calculation to CSA F280-12 standards must be conducted by competing offers.
-Must be reputable brands from local distributors.
-Guarantee does not apply to off label names or D.i.Y. online systems such as Senville etc.
-Price comparison is done on subtotal before rebates, promotions or discounts are applied.
(7) -Arrival window Guarantee applies to Service Call Diagnosis - does not cover unexpected road closures, road detours, dangerous road conditions, emergency cancellations, maintenance appt. rescheduling -Arrival window applies to services agreed upon by Ice & Ember and Customer. Unless confirmed with Ice & Ember; Voicemails, emails and texts with requests for a service time does not guarantee an arrival window.
